The above rates include full American breakfast daily for two. No additional room charge for children staying with an adult. Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional person charge is US$35/day based on European Plan.

Deposit and payment of three nights required. This is applied to first and last two nights. Fully refundable if cancelled 28 days prior to arrival in winter, 14 days in summer. From December 15 to January 15, there is a 7-night minimum. The three-night deposit is fully refundable if cancelled by October 15.

  • All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars. Rates do not include a 11% service charge and 9% government tax.
  • No charge for children 12 and under staying with an adult. Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional person charge is US$35/day.

Travel Information

Nevis is located in the Leeward Islands, 2 miles south of its sister island, St. Kitts. It has a population of 9,000 and covers a 36 square mile area. The climate is pleasant with an average temperature of 26 degrees Celsius or 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club was established in 1989 above the fishing village of Newcastle. Since that time, it has extended its gracious hospitality to thousands of island visitors.

How to Reach Nevis

By air, Nevis is 6 minutes from St. Kitts, 20 minutes from Antigua, 25 minutes from St. Martin, and 60 minutes from San Juan. St. Kitts is serviced by American Airlines. Antigua and St. Martin are serviced by American Airlines, BWIA, British Airways, Air Canada, Continental, and Lufthansa. San Juan is serviced by US Air and American Airlines. Charters can be arranged to Nevis from these islands. Call our toll-free number for suggestions. Beginning May 15, 2003, American Eagle will launch new service from San Juan to Nevis. Immigration

Valid passports or birth certificates and a photo ID are required. There is a departure tax of US$16.50.

Currency

The local currency is East Caribbean dollars. The current exchange rate is approximately EC$2.65 to US$1.00. US dollars are accepted at most establishments on the island.

Electricity

Electric current is 110 volts, 60 cycles – the same as in North America.

Local Transportation

Car and jeep rentals can be arranged at the front desk. A Nevis drivers license must be obtained for US$20. Taxis are available nearby.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Special arrangements can be made for early or late departures.

Dress Code

Gentlemen are not required to wear jacket and tie. Evening wear is smart casual. Please no shorts, jeans or T-shirts in the restaurant after 6 pm.
